I came up through the marching arts — performing front ensemble on synthesizer and marimba with Pulse, Gold, and Broken City Drum & Bugle Corps. That background gave me a musician's ear before I ever touched a mixing console, and it's shaped how I approach live sound ever since.

I've been engineering professionally for nearly two decades, working FOH, monitors, and system design across live music, theater, corporate events, and houses of worship. Based in San Marcos, CA, I work regularly across San Diego County and beyond.

I'm also a performer myself — which means I understand what it feels like to be on the other side of the mix. That empathy drives everything I do at the board.

Good live sound gets out of the way. The audience should be thinking about the performance, not the PA. My job is to make the band sound like the best version of themselves in whatever room we're in — and to do it without drawing attention to the process.
